Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Wine Mind (the "Service"), an educational web application about wine, available at this website, and any related content we publish, including on TikTok. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
The Service deals with wine and is intended for people of legal drinking age in their country of residence (at least 18 years old in France, 21 in the United States). By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2. The Service
Wine Mind offers interactive maps, courses, quizzes and a tasting journal to help users learn about wine regions, grape varieties and producers. The Service is provided for educational and entertainment purposes only. It does not sell alcohol and does not encourage excessive consumption. Please drink responsibly.
3. Accounts
You can use most of the Service without an account. You may optionally sign in with Google or with an email sign-in link to sync your progress and tasting journal across devices. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
4. Third-party platforms (TikTok)
If you connect a TikTok account or interact with Wine Mind content on TikTok, your use of TikTok is also governed by TikTok's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. We only access the TikTok data and permissions you explicitly authorize, and you can revoke that access at any time from your TikTok settings.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: misuse or disrupt the Service; attempt to access it by automated means beyond normal use; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
6. Content and intellectual property
The Service's design, text, courses, quizzes and maps are owned by Wine Mind or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Map and wine data may come from third-party open sources and remain subject to their respective licenses. Content you create (such as journal entries) remains yours; you grant us only the rights needed to store and display it to you.
7. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. While we aim for accuracy, wine information may contain errors or be out of date. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wine Mind shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for users who violate these Terms.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
